Brief about this Application:

Iphone has become so popular that iphone applications have become benchmark for comparing to any other application being released. So it doesn’t really matter is the application is being developed for symbian or any other platform, every possible effort is being made to give it the look and functionaluity of an iphone application. One such application being developed for symbian platform, called iSMS is also being developed on similar lines[...]

Just like in iphone you get to see incoming and outgoing messages as a conversation, the same goes with this application also. Free-iSMS displays your messages in threads but that’s not it. There are many other features to couple to this feature. With this application installed in your symbian phone you can also schedule your messages, this means that you can time stamp your messages and the message will be dispatched at that particular time which you have already set. That can be quite a useful feature if you tend to forget things.

Another utility of this application is that you can also send fake messages to yourself. However I don’t see the exact utility of this feature, as to why you would like to see the message sent by you to yourself. Moreover this feature is also very buggy as you can only make fake incoming messages with the date set to 2009 or later. That’s some really useless utility. Another bug that can be spotted easily is that the incoming and outgoing messages are displayed as threads but the messages in your custom folders can’t be displayed in such format.

So these are some issues that need to fixed as soon as possible along with some more advancements to be made in this application so that it can be used flawlessly.

Do you want the preview of incoming message to appear on your screen? Well, if the answer is no, then this post will surely help in learning this Trick, so that you can turn-off the feature that displays the message preview of the incoming message.

There are many reasons to support that you do not want the messages to be previewed and one among the huge list can be privacy[...]

Sometimes it happens that someone else is using your phone and suddenly a message comes and gets displayed on the screen. It could be that there is something very personal which you would not have wanted to share with anyone. Under such circumstances you would like to turn off this feature. This can be done very easily without any fuss. You need not install any application but this feature is inbuilt and can be done from within the iphone.

What you need to do is simply go to Settings -> Passcode Lock. Enter your passcode you have set already and if by chance you don’t use any password, you will have to set a new password in order to use this feature. As soon as you enter the password, iPhone will bring up a setting screen that allows you to turn off “Show SMS Preview“. That’s about it how you can turn off this feature. From next time onwards when a message appear in your iphone, it will display the conventional “text message” screen rather than poping up the preview of the message.

1. Download Winamp by going to the Winamp site.

2. Download the SHOUTcast Radio DSP plug-in for Winamp and install it.

3. Now go to http://listen2myradio.com/ and sign up for a free account, and verify it.

4. Now sign in and and chose any server you like as your radio server.

NOTE- Keep broadcaster password, admin password same as your account password. it will be better.

7. Now after installing. scroll down and again choose server which you selected earlier or any other server!

8. Now wait For Some Time till Your servers work!

9. Now click on "Turn on/off" Option and Turn on your Radio. [You may have to repeat this step few more times to start it]

10. Now if it is on, Open any song with winamp.

11. Now press Ctrl+P and a Window will Open in Winamp.

12. Now Go To "Plug-ins >> DSP/Effect " and double click "Nullsoft SHOUTcast source DSP v1.9.1 [dsp_sc.ddl]

13. Now Go To "Output >> Connection" And Fill 'Address' & 'Port' as Given in your "listen2myradio.com" account.

14. Now Go To "Output >> Yellopages" and fill 'URL' and other information.

15. Now Go To "Encoder" And select MP3 encoder and select 24kbp/s or 32kbp/s [according to your net speed].

16. Now Go To "output" and see the status it should be showing that it is sending some bytes.

[NOTE - if u don't see this or see disconnected then check if your radio status is on or not and if then also you see this jus recheck address and port and password.]

17. If you have done till here now log on to listen2myradio and go to that url which you gave in "radio installation". Now it will show that wait for 5 seconds and then it will start playing!

18. Now if it does not plays and shows ready then check your encoder stings it must be mp3.

So, What Exactly a Bluetooth is?

Bluetooth in simple terms ,is a method of connecting two or more electronic devices wirelessly .With this connection the devices can actually share data,transfer instructions and do lot more.Bluetooth uses some low power radio waves(For geeks, it uses a frequency of 2.45 gigahertz ) to transmit and receive between the devices .Bluetooth can connect up to 8 devices simultaneously with in the range of 10 meters(32 feet).

The Bluetooth devices are smart enough to have an electronic conversation (automatically) between them when one comes in range of the other. with this electronic conversation they bluetooth headsetdecide whether they have any data's to share or one should take control of the other.After this conversation they form a network within the range (say a room) called as Personal area network (PAN) or piconet.They constantly transmit and receive small signals to make sure each others presence.By this way they share data between them.The big draws of Bluetooth are that it is wireless, inexpensive and automatic.


Why We are Using Bluetooth?

Before this Bluetooth technology we were (and we are still)using Infrared (IR) to transfer data . For example, a normal TV remote uses infrared to communicate with the TV.The main advantages of this technology is its cheap , fairly reliable and it can be integrated into a system easily. But it has some major drawbacks like it is a ‘line of sight’ technology (i.e, you have to point the devices to the IR port to connect them )and you cannot connect more than two devices simultaneously with IR.

As,Bluetooth overcomes all these drawbacks and also has the advantages of IR it is accepted widely all over the world.
